A lot of those shops are real people. They fix heat, wire, roofs, and water for a living. They are also easy to miss unless a neighbor already has their number on the fridge.
Pylonworks is a public registry of those businesses: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, and the other trades that keep a house standing. Search by trade or city. Open a listing. Call the shop, or use the website when we have it.
If you run the shop and something on the page is wrong, send a correction. If you are not listed yet, add the business. The list only works if it stays useful.
